69 of our students went to see a special Schools’ Matinée of Hamilton at Mayflower Theatre in Southampton on Tuesday 1 April. The trip was attended by our KS4 Music and Drama students in support of GCSE Music's Area of Study 3 'Music for Stage and Screen' and Drama's Section C 'Live Theatre', along with some students from Year 9 who have opted to take these subjects next year. 

The event included an amazing technical demonstration and Q&A with the members of the Hamilton cast and crew following the show. This was an incredible opportunity for our students to join with 2200 students from around the South Coast to learn about live musical theatre and the many roles, skills and logistics that are involved. 

Our students were engaged throughout and left feeling inspired and motivated in their own creative journeys!
