This week saw 30 Carisbrooke College Sports Leaders start their first training session. The day was split into two halves. In the morning, students completed a 3-hour Basic Life Support First Aid qualification where they will soon be given certificates. In the afternoon, students completed a two-hour practical session learning about the qualities that leaders need, what makes effective communication and team-building activities. 

The students were a credit to the school throughout the day. We can't wait to see them working with local primary schools over the coming months at leading sports events.
