I have had the pleasure of leading all of our assemblies this week and welcoming all the year groups back. We have had a very smooth start to the academic year and students have returned with positive attitudes. I have been very impressed with the engagement in the learning that I have seen whilst walking around and popping into lessons.

Please can you make sure that, from Monday, students arrive with a bag and the equipment they need to fully engage in their lessons. Information was shared on our social media and by email this week. Students need to be arriving at school at 8.35 am, ready to be lined up at 8:40 am so that they are in school to start tutor time at 8:45 am; the start of the school day.

It has been a pleasure to meet and welcome our new Year 7 students. They have settled in well to life at Carisbrooke. We look forward to seeing them grow over the next five years with us.

Next week, our extra-curricular clubs begin. There are many to choose from so please encourage your child to sign up to them. Full details are currently being collated and will be shared on our website and social media channels next week.
